招生机制

《Computer Science PhD Student Handbook》（Revised June 2026）逐字：录取决定由申请人选择的 home school 做出并通知（CS/Interactive Computing/Cybersecurity & Privacy/CSE 四选一），「Support for incoming students (including guarantees of teaching and research assistantships and/or fellowships) is determined by the home schools」——即经费保证也是分校决定，不是学院统一承诺。Associate Chair for Graduate Programs 在各校内「coordinate the review of applications... with the relevant faculty」，说明教师对本校申请人的评审有实质参与，但公开材料没有把「导师同意」写成录取的必要条件。个别 PI 页面明文欢迎/要求套磁（Hyesoon Kim 要求邮件标题带 FUTUREGRAD 并附对其论文的具体评论；

Anand Iyer 要求申请材料里提及其名字），但这是 PI 个人做法，不是系里的制度性通道。前一轮 agent 核实的 2025 版 Handbook 另有一条（B级，未在本次 2026 版页面重新抓到，需留意版本差异）：约 50% 一年级博士生先由 GTA 供养，直到找到能以 GRA 支持他们的导师——即经费不与单一导师在入学时绑定，也不构成第一年 rotation 保证。

判断

套磁不是关卡，但对个别明文要求的 PI（如 Hyesoon Kim）是唯一入场券——不按其规定格式发信基本等于没发。对没有明文要求的 PI，套磁属于加分但不决定录取，材料本身（尤其推荐信与 SOP 里点名的研究方向）权重更高。

TOEFL

⚠️ 旧制 100 / 新制 5.0（2026-01 起生效），申请人现有旧制 90/新制约 4.5 不达标。 逐字（cc.gatech.edu/phd-cs-admissions-requirements，抓取 2026-08-18，A级）："The required minimum is 100 on the older scale, and 5.0 on the new scale effective January 2026." IELTS 总分 ≥7.5，单项 Reading 6.5 / Listening 6.5 / Speaking 6.5 / Writing 5.5。⚠️ 换算口径提醒：GT 官方直接给出「旧 100 = 新 5.0」这一对应关系，与 ETS 官方建议换算表（旧 100 对应新制建议门槛 5.0，但新 5.0 实际对应旧制 95-106 的区间）方向一致，不像 UIUC 那样把门槛定得比 ETS 隐含换算更严（UIUC 新 5.0 对应旧 103）。

因此重考目标定在新制 5.0 大概率够 GT，但因新 5.0 对应的旧制伴随分区间下限可低至 95，若最终出分恰好落在区间下沿、被系统显示为旧制口径，建议仍以 5.0 为最低目标、5.5 为无风险目标，与本人在 MIT 上的判断逻辑一致。

GRE

可选，非必需。逐字："General Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores are optional." 近期获录取者平均分：verbal ~80%、quantitative 90+%、analytical 90+%（百分位，非绝对分）。

申请费

UNVERIFIED（本次未从 grad.gatech.edu 抓到官方数字，多个猜测 URL 404）。前一轮 agent 抓到的二手数字为 US$95（国内）/US$105（国际）（C级，来自搜索摘要转述，需向 grad.gatech.edu/cost-fees 或 application.grad.gatech.edu 本人直接核实）。
